Aurora
Aurora Aksnes is the name of a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. She was born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. Her name could be spelled by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. The singer has released a number of high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which have received a lot of praise. It was further recognized from a post by Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her song Runaway. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical experiences include discovering an instrument hidden in the attic of her home, and becoming fascinated with the sounds it created. The parents of her May-Britt family and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as a career or hobby but as a way to develop. To do this she began to write original compositions. Her influences include renowned authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love of Bjork's style. Her decision to begin performing their songs in public after her mother suggested that they can help other people, to not become famous through the work she does, but to help people see around them realize the importance of their work and how they could impact the world. She started playing piano when she was six years old and began writing music when she was nine. It wasn't until she was 14 that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora wasn't just a fantasy of childhood. She says she just likes writing songs. She says that music is her favourite way of feeling something.
